Tis the season for iced coffee! This maple whipped dalgona iced coffee is served over creamy raw milk making it the most refreshing afternoon summer treat.

It’s all sorts of summer here on the Larkin home front. It’s wickedly hot and the mosquitos are out, yet this doesn’t stop my family and I from embracing each moment of this season.
The summer heat calls for adding ice cubes in every drink possible, even our precious morning coffee (oh, how I LOVE morning coffee).
A few years ago, my brother introduced me to a fancy coffee drink called a dalgona. A who? A dalgona is a fancy term for whipped, sweetened instant coffee served over a milk of your choice.
I get it, though. Instant coffee? Who has ever had a yummy instant coffee? I hear crickets.
Let me introduce to you Black Coffee Roasting Co.’s Organic Instant Coffee. In my opinion, it’s the best on the market and who doesn’t love the packaging? What’s great about their instant coffee is that it can be made hot or cold immediately. I especially love bringing this coffee along when my family and I go out camping. It’s convenient, tastes great, and I love supporting this small business.
My husband and I came across Black Coffee Roasting Co. when we lived in Missoula, Montana for a short time. We’d ride our bikes to the shop, hunker down by their wood stove, and devour our fresh lattes along with the best avocado toast we’ve ever eaten. We learned their secret: spread coconut oil on toast before smearing the avocado! Genius, right?! Now that we are back home in the East, sipping on their coffee brings me right back to the days of exploring Western Montana that I’ll always cherish. How to make a Maple Whipped Dalgona Iced Coffee with Raw Milk
Tools you’ll need
- Standing mixer with whisk or hand mixer
- Spatula
Ingredients you’ll need
- 1 Tbsp organic, instant coffee
- 1 Tbsp boiling water
- 1 Tbsp maple syrup
- Handful of ice
- 1 cup raw milk (or milk of choice)
Step by step instructions for making a Maple Whipped Dalgona Iced Coffee with Raw Milk



Combine instant coffee, boiling water, and maple syrup in bowl or standing mixer. Mix on high, roughly 2-5 minutes, until coffee is whipped.



In a separate cup, add ice and top with 1 cup of raw milk (or milk of choice).


With a spatula, smoothly pour whipped coffee over milk. Top iced coffee with cinnamon, nutmeg, or spice of choice (or in my case, an orchid bloom!)
Serve and enjoy immediately!

This maple whipped dalgona iced coffee is served over creamy, iced raw milk making it the most refreshing and sweet afternoon treat.
Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp Organic, Instant Coffee (I prefer Montana's Black Coffee Roasting Co.)
- 1 Tbsp boiling water
- 1 Tbsp maple syrup
- 1 cup raw milk (or milk of choice)
